OUR METHODOLOGY

“We fit treatment to the patient, not the
patient to the treatment.”

01

Assessment: Step one of the process is to consultation and a series of thorough diagnostic assessments designed to help pinpoint specific areas of focus. Once these have been identified, we will discuss the most effective treatment options available to you which are aimed at getting you back on track in the most realistic and cost-effective time possible.

02

Treatment: Once we’ve agreed a treatment plan, the next step is treating the issues and areas of focus identified at the assessment stage. This will include [ENTER INFO]. These treatment modalities will help to restore pain-free movement by removing restrictions in the joints and soft tissues of the body.

03

Rehabilitation: Now you’re out of pain and able to move better, the next step is the rehabilitation phase which will consist of mobility, progressive corrective exercise and prevention strategies as these are key components in reducing the risk recurrence.

OUR CLINICAL APPROACH

Our approach to physiotherapy is like no other treatment you’ve experienced before. Our targeted patient-centred care and utilisation of a broad range of treatment modalities avoids endlessly chasing symptoms and focuses on restoring, maintaining and maximising long-term success. We empower our patients by helping them to understand what things can go wrong and what to do about it if they do.

So, whether you need help with a recent injury or a chronic condition that’s impacting on your work and daily life, you can be rest assured that you’re in safe and experienced hands.

We will discuss the history of your specific injury or condition with you in order to provide the most effective treatment plan to help restore you back to your pre-injury condition as soon as possible depending on the type of injury or condition you have.

01

Assessment: Effective treatment is the product of a highly effective initial assessment and sound diagnosis. The varied and diverse modalities of hands-on treatment provided will depend on your desired outcome. Clinical assessments include orthopaedic special testing, postural analysis, movement screening, flexibility testing, ultrasound and MRI.

02

Soft Tissue Therapy: After reviewing the findings of an effective assessment, treatment will begin with a form of soft tissue therapy. We are highly experienced in being able to determine the best modality to use dependant on your condition. Modalities include sports massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, acupuncture, ultrasound, electrotherapy, cryotherapy, cupping, myofascial release and strapping and taping. Utilising these treatment modalities will promote the healing process and accelerate recovery in addition to releasing tension and adhesion's in the soft tissue structures.

03

Mobilisation: The next integral part of the treatment and recovery process is restoring mobility and flexibility which will involve muscular and neural mobilisation techniques and advanced stretching. These techniques are used to reduce inflammation and improve nerve function. Mobilisation techniques can significantly reduce pain and/or discomfort when used in conjunction to soft tissue treatment. Our techniques include both spinal and peripheral (joint) mobilisations and adjustments.

04

Rehabilitation: The next clinical phase is rehabilitation which is an essential part of the process to reduce the risk of injury recurrence. We have extensive experience working with people from early to end stage rehabilitation. Our rehabilitation modalities include corrective exercise, strength and conditioning, ultrasound, electrotherapy, gait analysis, pilates and Kinesio taping.
